About Me

Hello, my name is Rachel Moore. I am currently a first-year student at DePauw University in Greencastle, IN. Since my childhood, I have been passionately involved with the environment of Indiana. As a native Hoosier, exploring the state parks like Turkey Run and Clifty Falls, have exposed me to the wonders of the natural world and have allowed me the sense of a need for conservation and preservation. DePauw has provided me the opportunity to become involved with the Environmental Fellows Program and the Sustainability Leadership Program. Each program has expanded my knowledge and application of sustainability and environmentalism in my day-to-day and academic life.

In my spare time I am a novice botanist regarding Indiana native wildflowers. Check out my developing field guide from firsthand experiences with the native wonders of Indiana wildflowers.
